So here is the reason for the period of inactivity on the old site. Tweaks, Tightenings and Updates have been made that hopefully are an improvement on the old site. Well I reckon they are at least!

Paddle Training

We will be running a River Initiation Training day. Hoping we have some rain to bring up river levels for this one

Becky Mason

April 25th - 26th 2010
We will be hosting a Paddle Training week-end with guest Becky Mason of Red Canoes, Canada. Becky is the daughter of the late Bill Mason (Song of the Paddle, Path of the Paddle) and is an accomplished paddler in her own right.

Poling Workshop

We will be running an Introduction to Poling.  Based in the NW of England on the River Lune. £35.00 per person.

Canoe Rescue & Self Rescue

We are setting up a series of workshops on Canoe rescue and Self rescue for the Canoeist. Of interest to anyone who uses their craft on open water rather than on rivers. These workshops will look at outfitting, rescue tools, and methods. With practical workshop style sessions, expect to get wet!
